FIRST, holiday is ending real soon and i dont know how to react to that fact. sad? happy? excited? dispassionate?

SECOND, school starts on the 15th, which is on Thursday. dont ask me why, neither do i have the answer for that. (like why dont they just make it on Monday the 19th huh. oh RP!)

THIRD, however i am liking the idea that i'll officially be a 2nd year student in a couple of days' time. Junior already seyy ;-)

FOURTH, the sorting of class arrangement had just been published and i am more than happy upon knowing that Cinta will be in the same class as me for all the 5 modules. wohoo another laugh-all-the-time-even-at-the-slightest-things semester :D

FIFTH, Cinta told me that a Malay boy by the name of Jamal will be in our class. me and Cinta, we dont mean to be bad but just at the mention of his name, we will laugh even we dont know exactly why. it's like, there is just something about his name that makes us laugh. and we just cant stop wondering how will he looks like. yesterday in school, every Malay boy that we saw, we would like "eh agak nye tu Jamal?"
but this Thurs, our curiosity will be answered, for sure.

SIXTH, i am sooo over my crush from my previous class. looking forward for new crush this upcoming Junior Year. hehee! (no! focus, Nazurah! FOCUS!)

SEVENTH, i am so upset with my born-with-short-fingers. due to this, i cant reach some of the damn chords! coz im trying to learn Ignorance by Paramore and these freaking fingers kinda hold me back. pissed!

i got goosebumps when Hayley started singing because her live vocal is just so amazing, making her one of the best singer of our generation, agree? she's really gifted! and the guys were brilliant too! Jeremy kept throwing his guitar picks at the crowds and the flip that he did on Taylor was epic! altogether, they were so energetic on stage. oh so PARAMORE! ♥

yesterday, we were in the cab on the way home from a gig when we saw a signboard that reads : Chingay, 27 Feb 2010, 7pm - 11pm

upon seeing it, i excitedly exclaimed to Aisah who was sitting next to me,
"eh the Chingay is on 27 Feb from 7 to 11pm uh. jom pegi!" *excited face*
Aisah: 27 Feb kn nari. *looking at me blankly*
Me: ouhk. eh?
we looked at the watch and it was 15mins to 11pm already
Me: k forget it -_-"

yeah earlier that day, went to a gig organized by 4PM at bedok since my frens were performing. as expected, Dian (vocalist) and Alif (guitarist) did well and the crowd loved them as they sang along and cheered hard, including us ;-) proud of them!

but initially, we were kinda pissed off with the performance timing slot. previously said, Dee and Alif's slot was at 8.15pm. then it was changed to 9.15pm (wth) and upon registering, it stated that their performance would be at 9.30pm instead (WTH!).

met some of my long-time-no-see friends and met new people. overall, yesterday was a blast! check out Dee's blog for the video.

oh yeah and u noe what, the gig started at 6.30pm but at 7pm till 7.30pm, they stopped for awhile in respect to waktu magrib and let the people solat magrib first. awesome kn gig mcm gitu?! if only the annual Baybeats gig does this,

basically, my weekend was filled with shoppings :)

on Saturday, met him after his work and headed to Orchard as Atep wanted to go shopping for a friend's birthday present. First stop was ION, then to Wisma Atria and then to The CentrePoint. Next was to Tang Plaza, followed by Paragon and The Heeren. That's not all, we then went back to Wisma Atria and ION. The shoppings and walking made us hungry. at 10pm, traveled back to Pasir-Ris and had our supper at McDonald. by 11pm, we called it a day and headed home :)

on Sunday, started off with little shopping with my sis at CityLink Mall then met up with the rest of my family members and off we went for Avatar. Yes i watched Avatar again for the 2nd time in a month but NO, this time i didnt drop the popcorns and no more snapping-angmoh. lol. After the movie, had another shopping spree and my sis was being nice and bought me a Mango bag :)

Monday was another awesome day! Something worth remembering happened between me and you-know-who at school. i've never been that happier! k i dont wanna brag.. Anyway, after school, met-up with my beloved babes and dude at Tampines. lepak. ketawa. makan. ketawa. bobal. ketawa. ketawa. KETAWA. basically, the day was filled with laughter. good times surround me :)

Dian told me she had the best dream ever last night...

Me, Dee, Esya and Nad were involved in a war that was similar to the Lord Of The Ring kind of war (cool right?). The four of us were dressed in suits of armor and fully equipped with all kind of traditional weapons (awesome huh?). We were side by side with one another, fighting against monsters, werewolves and all kinds of beasts (impressive isn't it?). She added that in her dream, everything was in a slow-motion speed, something like matrix.

It sounds fun. So, i help her 'achieving her dream'. Besides, im curious how we all look like in armor. . .

WTH?! hahahaha pardon me for my lack of skills in photoshop. pkai tudung tapi baju sexy you! kepala besar badan kecik! and look at me, muke itam tapi badan puteh. hahaha! and i have no idea who's the other 2 girls. perhaps our comrades..? hahahaa just for fun yaww!

Week 14(26th Jan) of Entrepreneurship Module required us to set up a booth for a trade show to exhibit our business plan. Formal attires were necessary and everybody was looking smart and well-groomed (oh yes my crush was exceptionally handsome that day!). Though in the beginning it was kinda mafan, but we really had a blast and cam-whoring through out the event :)

Me anf Atiqah went to watch AVATAR 3D at town after

school yesterday. There's a LOT of angmohs there

right?

There was one sitting next to atiqah in the cinema...

There was a scene where the hyena thing was chasing the guy. And since it was 3D, it seemed so real and it felt like the hyena was about to jump out of the screen and came marching towards me.Because of this freaking 3D effect, i got shocked and went ''ahhh!" AND DROPPED OUR BUCKET OF POPCORN ON THE GROUND WHICH THEN LEFT US WITH NO MORE POPCORNS, our bucket of popcorn was totally empty! good job, girl!

Due to this, we kinda BURST out laughing.

And we tried to CONTROL our laughter.

I thought that was it.

Then there was another scene where there was these white stuff floating in the forest.

And Atiqah whispered to me,

"Eh..That one our POPCORN spirits"

Again, we started laughing.

The angmoh next to us faked a cough in signal of asking us to SHUT UP.

Apparently,

we ignored him.

Then HE TURNED TO OUR DIRECTION,

HE SNAPPED HIS FINGERS RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR FACE!

TWICE.

and said,

"CAN YOU KEEP YOUR VOLUME DOWN, PLEASE?"

We looked at his fingers and smiled and NOD our heads.

that's not all,

OMG! The character.The lady avatar.

WHY MUST YOU CRY LIKE THAT?

okea to be precise, she wasnt crying, she was like MOANING which sounded like siren! u noe what i mean if u have watched this movie.

LIKE WTH.

We ended up laughing even harder instead of feeling sad.

And everytime we laugh,

me and atiqah would do the 'snap-the-fingers-like-that-ang-moh-did'

After the movie,

we stayed put at our seats,

and LAUGHED OUR ASSES OFF!

HELLO?! IT WAS FUNNY OKAY!!!!

i was on duty for the open house at my school last friday. i was the Student Helper and my job was to stay at my booth and explain stuff to the visitors. i was given a booth under a Department of Science and Maths and it was about invisible ink and fluorescent elements that would glow under the UV lamp. damn, it was beautiful and fascinating!

and there was even a flash mob during the open house..

On the Wednesday of that week, my babes came down to my school for a lepak session. These are our gorgeous faces..

So, last weekend had been a busy weekend as Dian's bro was getting married. i leave it to these pictures as pictures paint a thousand words.. hehee! more pictures on facebook!

anyways, here are some photos during my KL trip. yeah the trip was fun. Kenny Rogers, Subway, Carl's Junior, Manhattan Fish Market.. damn, all those are halal in Malaysia and i sometimes wish i live there, BUT, considering the traffics, systems, maintenance and politics (ceyy!) i am so glad that i live in Singapore and so proud of being a Singaporean!! majulah Singapura! k stop it and no, being patriotic is NOT my new year's resolution!

ahh, talking about new year, yeah 2010 is just around the corner and i havent think of any new resolutions coz the fact is, i could never stick with any of them! guess what happened to my 2009's resolutions.. though i managed to attain some of them, but MOST (like 98.5%) of them went down the drain! so my 2010's resolution is 'no specific resolution, just go-with-the-flow'. yeahh that's more i like it, go-with-the-flow~

i had a great week this week :) here's there re-cap...(in inverted order)
yesterday, Atiqah juz gotten herself a new phone and since then, she's so obsess with video-recording on her phone. she self-claimed that she actually has skill in reporting *kening dancing in disagreement* hahahaa! okea so there she goes, even when going to the toilet she wanted to record the whole trip.. *kening dancing again*

and during break, we played pool in the library. it was my first time and i was the noobest =S

on thursday, after school went to eHub to catch-up with Dee and Eyfa.

wednesday, my Creative Concept teacher whom we call mamaMush, was being extra kind and motherly (??) as she treated our class a total of 6 boxes of pizzas. mann, we ate like a bunch of hungry pigs... (pictures soon)

the main focus of tuesday was when Atiqah fell from her chair in class. damn hilarious! here's what happened; she knelt down on the chair beside me and was holding on to my chair while waiting for Azree to pass by the window. she saw Azree and waved at him to get his attention to ask him to get back to class and kinda accidentally pushed my chair away, which then caused her chair to move backwards...

and she came crashing down on my chair!

i guess this is where all the kening matters started - me, Brandon and Atiqah were in the bus on the way home when we spotted a lady with A PAIR OF UNEVEN EYEBROWS. yes, her kening was damn obvious that one was thicker (or i should say, literally bushier) than the other one. worst part was that, she was sitting right in front of us and hell yeah, we had a hard time trying to look away and not to laugh. but we juz cant! we're not trying to be mean but, lady can u plz do something about ur freakin' kening?? HAHAHAHAHAA

and since then, my class has a serious issue about kenings. whatever that gotta do with kening will be turned into a joke by us.

i had a wonderful weekends last week

SATURDAY was like a 'sister-day-out' as i went to the IT Roadshow in the morning with my sis to get myself a hard disk for school. Yeah, the pink one ;-)

in the evening, we watched New Moon. not excellent but a good movie. worth the 8bucks. k im not gonna spoil the surprise for those who havent watch yet..

on SUNDAY, mom woke me up at 5 in the morning

me: what? it's only 5. waktu Subuh pon blom masok..

mom: bangun gi mandi cepat. lepas tu siap, kte nk gi kampung.

me: what? what? what?

mom: KAMPUNG! kampung nyayi kt Johor tu.. dh cepat bangun!

school was great today as we experienced with professional audio recorder equipments.

technology gadgets are invented to make one's life easier. but i disagree! yes i have some issues with the freaking hi-tech gadgets. this morning after settling down upon reaching class, i started up my lappy like i always did and was surprised when i couldnt access the internet. i restarted my lappy once. then twice and thrice when i still couldnt access. annoyed, i went to the IT Helpdesk at school’s library to get my lappy fixed. they told me my lappy was ‘infested’ with viruses and i would have to leave my laptop there so they could clean up the viruses, reformat it and get it done. it might took hours and asked me to collect it back after my class - so i had to take a loan for school’s lappy. i was in the midst of completing my works online when the freaking school’s lappy shut down by itself. oh so it was ran out of battery actually huh. i quickly took out the charger coz i had to submit my works before the deadline. and that was when i realized the IT guy had given me the wrong charger! from my level 5 classroom, i had to get down all the way to level one to the desk and change the charger. ughhh!

i thought that was the end of my bad day but i was wrong. i'd be meeting my friend after school and messaging would be the fast and convenient way of getting in touch with one another huh. but guess what? of all sudden, my hp just decided to buat hal lah sae!!! it just died by itself like unexpectedly! no use of me switching it on again coz it would turn off by itself again! like what the ~~hell~~ heaven kan?!?!! why would all these disruptive technologies happened to me one after another?! what had i done wrong to u, oh technologies? technology gadgets supposed to make one’s life easier and better and not make life more problematic! pissed of doh!

however, later that day in the evening, my badluck seemed to fade away and i had a blast with my friends at kakFash's 20th bday bash. everything went perfectly as planned by abgWan and we managed to surprise kakFash :)

2nd semester awaiting and school expecting the students to enroll back 2mrw. new semester! new modules! new class!

with a GPA of 2.80 in my previous sem and a C for my maths module which i thought i would definitely fail, im pretty contented with my achievements so far and really looking forward for the fresh new semester and wanna improves for the better this time round :)

and my resolutions for this new sem are..

1) pay more attention in class

2) no msn/facebook/online-shopping/blog/neopets(?!) during lesson

3) no last-min studies especially for the tests

4) no more slacking and attend as many talks as possible just for the sake of CE points

5) no more drooling and eyeing and 'stalking' on hotties (hmmm maybe. i'll try not to. hehe)

and the list goes on...

the entire day of yesterday was spent at Johor with my makciks and pakciks. first stop was kampung to pay my pakcik nye sepupu nye sedare sebelah nenek nye anak a visit. it was my first time ever went to kampung and so i was very thrilled; anak bandar jakon masok kampung. the place was very peaceful, no busy streets, chickens were clucking now and then. it was like an escape.. next stop was Singpang Renggam. a place well-known for its super cheap kueh raya. hahh kau! berguni2 my makciks and my mom bought the kueh. then went to Jusco. and of course i bought a few trays of sushi! and one big box of Dunkin' Doughnuts.. okea saying these make me hungry now. oh well, here are some of the pics~

and the day before yesterday, went to iftar at LauPaSat with my former classmates. it's been almost a year since we graduated and since then, each of us gone seperate ways to reach out for our desired goals. most of us hardly have the time to meet up as everyone is busy with their own things. thus, this iftar was a good excuse for us to eventually get together and catch up with one another. it was really refreshing that each of us have their own stories to share and happiness potrayed on everyone's face throughout the gathering. and we've planned another gathering which will be on the 3rd week of hari raya; sewa van serbu rumah org! now i really looking forward for that ;-) oh i really love and cherish each and everyone of them !

& bytheway, i've changed my blog song to raya song! weee~ no more emo bapok song k, dian? happy now? ahahh!
